Dr. Arthur’s practice specializes in treating individuals and families with a variety of disorders and life struggles. His main clinical focus is on depression/anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, severe mental health, and coming of age issues. He is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional – Level 2 and is intensity trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. In addition, Dr. Arthur has also received training in Exposure with Response Prevention (ExRP) for the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder. Moreover, he has also provided continuing education units to other mental health professionals.
He is confident that no problem is too great to overcome. Through therapy, there is always a way to address the issues you face and learn coping strategies to help you both right now and in the future.
Dr. Arthur is also a licensed provider through Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), an organization maintained by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards to provide both in-person and tele-health services across state lines to clients in selected states. He is able to provide tele-health services to individuals in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Northern Mariana Islands, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. He also maintains full licenses with the states of Florida and Maryland.

Dr. Arthur Chen, Psy.D, CCTP-II, is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice. He holds a Doctors of Psychology and a Masters of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional - Level 2 with the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP).
